Merapi is a highly explosive stratovolcano that erupts every three to five years in Central Java. As for Merapi app, it’s an Earth Science outreach product developed by Earth Observatory of Singapore which explores six categories as shown above related to Merapi. It contains interactive features such as interactive animation, 3D object spinning, quizzes, custom video player and various navigation methods created using InDesign Digital Publishing Suite and HTML.

This project was developed in a high degree of collaboration with artists, designers, scientists and writers.
