Originally from Taiwan, I acquired my Master degree(MFA) in Animation and Digital Arts from New York University Tisch School of the Arts at Singapore campus. During my two-year graduate studies, I learned a variety of skills including storytelling, digital painting, interactive art, gaming and application design, as well as 2D and 3D animation. After I graduated, I worked as a freelance new media artist for the Singapore Art Museum and as a research associate in the Art and Media department at Nanyang Technological University. In all of these roles, my knowledge from my bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, such as physics, circuit design, electrical engineering and computer systems, benefited me greatly when I designed and created projects. I relocated to China in 2016. I was a 3D designer in Tencent headquarters working on VR, AR and other experimental projects. After two years, I moved to Shanghai working at ByteDance (TikTok) as a senior multimedia designer in Internationalization team. I’m now a freelancer in Taiwan.
